Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage complex neonatal cases: respiratory distress syndrome, IUGR, hyperbilirubinemia, sepsis
  • Perform required procedures listed above (intubation, chest tubes, central lines, taps, exchange transfusions)
  • Manage ventilators including oscillators and iNO
  • Provide family-centered communication and support for critically ill newborns
  • Collaborate with nursing and APP staff; coordinate care with obstetrics for high-risk deliveries
