About the Role: 

We are seeking an experienced Recycling Outbound Sales Representative to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is focused on driving growth through proactive prospecting, outbound sales, and industry networking, while also managing and expanding existing customer relationships. The ideal candidate brings a strong sales mindset and a passion for delivering recycling solutions that help businesses achieve their landfill diversion goals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive new business growth through outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, and active participation in industry events and trade associations
  • Meet and exceed daily outbound activity metrics and monthly revenue goals
     Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities within the target market
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters with support from local operations, billing, and dispatch teams
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while building strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Negotiate, update, and renew customer service agreements to maximize profitability
  • Provide quotes, draft service agreements, and manage contract updates for new and existing customers with a sense of urgency (same-day turnaround when possible)
  • Manage incoming customer requests promptly and maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records for reporting and pipeline tracking
  • Educate customers on recycling systems and develop creative, tailored solutions through onsite visits and application of company products and services
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve regional sales goals
  • Attend and actively engage in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build pipeline and brand presence

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of relevant sales experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in solid waste, recycling, or logistics industries preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite & able to update information in the company’s Salesforce CRM and other company databases
  • A desire and commitment to become an expert in the recycling industry
  • An organized “people person” who enjoys communication by phone, email & in-person with a high standard of courtesy & professionalism
  • An ability and desire to enjoy a collaborative, people-oriented culture where there is respect for quality of life and the drive to succeed
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
