Job description

As the Assistant CIO, Technology, you will serve as the Civil Division's senior enterprise technology executive responsible for developing, governing, and advancing the Division's technology capabilities in support of mission objectives. You will advise the Chief Information Officer and senior leadership regarding technology risks, future capabilities, modernization opportunities, and emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, that may enhance enterprise operations.
Qualifications:To qualify for the position of Assistant CIO, Technology, at GS-2210-15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service, performing duties such as: developing enterprise technology strategies and modernization plans; leading enterprise technology governance initiatives; evaluating and recommending emerging technologies for organizational adoption; developing technology standards, policies, or governance frameworks; leading or overseeing artificial intelligence governance or enterprise technology innovation initiatives; integrating cybersecurity and risk management principles into enterprise technology planning; advising executive leadership regarding enterprise technology investments and modernization priorities; leading enterprise technology programs that support organization-wide mission requirements.
