Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Space Program Acquisition Specialist on our new 10 year-long SETA U.S. Space Force (USSF) program to provide support in developing and deploying space-based weapon systems capabilities within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, CA. Location: El Segundo, California Responsibilities for the Space Program Acquisition Specialist: * Support and advise the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership in regards to acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting and execution (PPBE). * Develop and oversee acquisition planning briefs and documents (ESIS, ASP, ASD, etc.). * Develop overarching program planning and execution documents from DODI 5000.02 and relevant DOD, AF, and SMC policies. * Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design / milestone reviews to assess progress, risks, and issues to achieve requirements. Qualifications for the Space Program Acquisition Specialist: * Must have an active TS/SCI clearance - SAP * Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field * 7+ years (with Bachelors) or 5+ years (with a Masters) of experience with acquisition and program management within the military and or intelligence community field * Experience interfacing with acquisition offices Compensation: * Salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 (Pay based on years of experience and education) * Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on 08/03/2026.
