Job description

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Actuary for the Philadelphia, PA location to analyze data to estimate risk and financial impact for global healthcare insurance company.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain actuarial\ models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.

Support the development of new products, pricing strategies, and profitability.

Perform scenario testing and analysis of risk and opportunities.

Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings to key stakeholders in person and in writing.

Monitor experience studies and adjust assumptions based on emerging trends.

Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to support business decisions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.

Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or related field (with a minimum GPA of 3.20) and 2 years of experience in any actuarial role in the healthcare domain.

Must have experience with: analyzing data using Python;

Working with big data and querying data using SQL code; and,

Advanced Excel Functions.

Must be an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.
