Job description

We are currently looking for a Full-Time hourly Cigar Warehouse Associate to assist in our Binny's in Arlington Heights, Il facility. The associate will assist the cigar department and warehouse staff in many different facets. The ideal applicant must have a strong work ethic and the ability to be organized and detail oriented when handling product and invoices for our multi-unit cigar operation.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Processing orders using invoices and making accurate notes.

• Receiving, staging, packing, and shipping of the products as needed.

• Ability to accurately enter data and filing of invoices.

• Maintenance and safety of the warehouse. 

• Have clear and constant communication with supervisors.

  Duties are ongoing.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as scheduled.
  • Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
  • Ability to operate business machines and some basic computer systems.
  • Ability to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
  • Ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to read small type.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
  • Ability to work in cold areas.
  • Ability to work hours as scheduled.
  • Consistent and regular attendance.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.

Must be able to perform all duties and functions of a store associate as described in qualifications.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay rate for this Full-Time position is $17.00-$19.00 hourly based on experience.
