Description

This individual is responsible for supporting the Studio Manager in all aspects of Studio work. This position is responsible for supporting Architectual and Design staff by responding to requests related to their projects. They are also responsible for providing back-up support to the reception area, answering the phones when requested, and shopping for kitchen and general office supplies when needed. This role primarily works in the office. A minimum of 15 hours per week is required with a range of 15 to 20 hours per week provided for this position.

  • Develops design intent & interior finish materials on project assignments as requested 
  • Responsible for occasional outside errands as directed by supervisor
  • Completes field verifications at job sites in conjunction with other staff 
  • Maintains a clean and neat appearance in the Studio by organizing and filing product materials 
  • Orders and tracks interior design sample materials and delivers them to designers in a timely manner 
  • Orders studio supplies to ensure that essential materials are always available 
  • Works efficiently to handle multiple projects for several design teams, simultaneously 
  • Coordinates and meets with product representatives to update Studio schedule of Expos and keep all materials updated
