Job description

                                                       POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:         Church Administrator

TYPE:                          Part Time

REPORTS TO:             Pastor

DATE:                          6/2026

PURPOSE:

To coordinate communication and administration of all aspects of office systems including prayer chain, maintenance, church management software, and technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·       Be the first line of care for those who call and come to the church, encouraging them and praying with them as appropriate

·       Thoroughly understand and manage church management software

·       Coordinate all church-wide communication, including One Call, Sunday morning announcements and slides, prayer chain, etc.

·       Coordinate upkeep, maintenance and improvement of church technology

·       Keep stock and order office supplies as needed

·       Coordinate upkeep and cleaning of the church building, including maintaining all supplies needed

·       Keep all necessary files for church records

·       Mail pickup, sending and distribution

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Agreement with and willingness to pursue the mission of Pleasant View Missionary Church

·       Track record of integrity

·       Love for others and ability to care for them

·       Proficiency in or willingness to learn necessary software, including Microsoft Office and others

·       Ability to recruit, train and lead volunteers would be beneficial

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

·       Volunteers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

·       Office management experience

·       History of volunteer recruitment, training and leading
