Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist), you will join an exceptional team at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. You will be part of CommonSpirit Memorial, a regional leader in healthcare for Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia, consistently recognized as the Best Regional Hospital in the Chattanooga area by U.S. News & World Report for the 11th consecutive year (and among the top hospitals in Tennessee, No. 4), and with an 'A' Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.

Every day you will provide a safe anesthetic experience for assigned patients ensuring the highest standards of care. You will be responsible for meeting established surgical standards, and meticulously managing anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. You will also have the opportunity for a wide variety of cases (no OB or peds), and will be part of a team that covers CommonSpirit Memorial in Chattanooga, TN (primary location), and rotates through CommonSpirit Memorial - Hixson, TN, and CommonSpirit Memorial - Ringgold/N. GA locations.

To be successful in this role, you will meticulously provide safe general and regional anesthetic experiences for assigned patients, working under the guidance of the attending surgeon/anesthesiologist. You will demonstrate exceptional expertise in anesthesia administration and management, ensure rigorous adherence to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices, and proactively foster teamwork within the Operating Room and across departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient surgical operations. Job Requirements

Required

  • Ability to obtain GA and TN licensure
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Completion of nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. Compliance with criteria for biannual re-certification, as defined by the AANA Council on Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
