Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hours a week, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Amigos Campus Pastor

Job Purpose
To provide administrative, communications, and event coordination support to Amigos Yorba Linda, ensuring excellence in ministry operations, digital content, and church events.

Your Mission
Administrative & Ministry Operations
  • Manage weekly administrative tasks for Amigos Church.
  • Maintain ministry calendars, meetings, and schedules.
  • Prepare Sunday materials: bulletins, welcome cards, guest follow-up, volunteer rosters.
  • Process invoices, check requests, receipts, reimbursement forms.
  • Organize files, documents, reports, and ministry data.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, and systems for planning.
  • Maintain updated databases for volunteers, leaders, groups, and attendance.
  • Assist with ministry logistics for Sunday and weekly programs.
  • Coordinate with Operations for facility needs and supplies.
  • Produce weekly Mailchimp newsletters and communications.
  • Assist with printing, signage, labels, and administrative materials.

Communications, Technology & Digital Media
  • Manage Amigos Church social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook).
  • Create content: posts, stories, reels, and ministry updates.
  • Edit simple videos for announcements, testimonies, and recaps.
  • Use Canva to create ministry graphics, flyers, cards, and promotional materials.
  • Prepare and update ProPresenter slides for Sundays.
  • Coordinate Sunday media needs with worship and production teams.
  • Maintain email lists, templates, and digital communications.
  • Support basic tech needs during services and gatherings.
  • Capture photo/video content at events when needed.

Events Coordination
  • Coordinate all Amigos Church events (holiday, outreach, trainings, classes, etc.).
  • Prepare checklists, supply lists, and event timelines.
  • Coordinate volunteers, registration, set up, teardown, and logistics.
  • Ensure communication of events across print, social media, Mailchimp, and Sundays.
  • Produce signage, handouts, maps, and event materials.
  • Oversee hospitality needs: coffee, snacks, and volunteer refreshments.
  • Support Women's, Men's, Youth, and other ministries with event logistics.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Attend Amigos staff meetings and Friends Church staff gatherings.
  • Support Sunday services and weekly ministry activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and excellent communication.
  • Represent Amigos Church with professionalism, kindness, and spiritual maturity.

  • Strong writing and editing skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable with technology, media tools, and online platforms.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Moderate noise environment.
  • Ability to use hands for typing, reaching, and handling materials.
