Job description

Responsible for broadcast audio mixing and studio engineering at Prestonwood Baptist Church ("PBC").

Responsibilities:

  • Broadcast mixes for Sunday services and special events
  • Create postproduction mixes for services
  • Responsible for tracking and production for studio projects
  • Assist with Ableton files for weekend services
  • Act as studio assistant / engineer
  • Demo mixes for new project songs
  • Stem mixes for new songs
  • Set up studio and prepare for all tracking sessions
  • Produce mixes for social media platforms
  • Approve all audio for video content
  • Coordinate studio schedule and setup for solo, choir, and instrumental recordings
  • Maintain organization of broadcast audio files
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
  • Willingness to commit to the Worship Ministry's core values of passionate, relational, excellent, accountable, collaborative, and honoring
  • Previous experience working in a production environment with a minimum of 3 years' experience mixing for broadcast and 5 years' experience working with ProTools
  • Experience with DigiCo consoles, DSP, and signal flow preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Able to regularly walk and use one's body parts for sitting, standing, stooping, hearing, lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance, reaching, and seeing, and able to perform continuous, repetitive hand and finger movements over an extended period of time
