What does a chromatography technician do?

A Chromatography Technician operates and maintains chromatography instruments to analyze substances in samples, such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or biological materials. They prepare samples, run tests using techniques like HPLC or gas chromatography, and interpret the resulting data to ensure quality and compliance with standards. Chromatography Technicians often work in laboratories within industries such as pharmaceuticals, environmental science, or food safety. Their work is crucial for identifying compounds, detecting contaminants, and supporting research and development.
