Job Summary (List Format):
- Schedule: Night shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 13-week assignment
- Location: No local candidates within 50 miles
- Department: 702A Clinical Lab – Lab Assistant
- Experience: Minimum 2 years within specialty required
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification required
- Key Responsibilities:
- Handle laboratory data collection systems and equipment
- Ensure proper ordering, cancellation, and charging of laboratory test requests for all inpatients, outpatients, and institutional accounts
- Perform specimen collection procedures for both inpatients and outpatients
- Conduct non-technical specimen processing, preparation, and distribution
- Holiday Requirement: Must work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year’s Day) AND 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve) during the assignment
