Middle School Teacher - Jackson Christian School

Jackson Christian School seeks to hire a full-time middle school teacher. This individual must possess a strong faith and walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as evidenced by a desire to regularly attend corporate worship in a Bible believing church and serve with other brothers and sisters in Christ. JCS is a warm and friendly school that is populated by staff, faculty, and families who desire to point others to Christ.

In addition to a strong commitment to Christ and Christian education, a successful candidate for this ministry must possess or have the ability to obtain a State of Michigan Teaching Certificate, along with ACSI certification. This position will be apportioned teaching responsibilities in some of the following subject areas: Math, Social Studies, Geography, History, English, Science, Student Help, PE, and Technology. Classes will be assigned depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications and skills. A successful candidate for this position should have coursework and aptitude in one or more of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Math, English, Bible, or Science. In addition, a love for children is required.
