Christian Life School is seeking a caring, organized, and servant-hearted Preschool Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our birth - K4 preschool. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children, enjoys supporting teachers and families, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Working alongside the Preschool Director, the Preschool Assistant Director plays an essential role in ensuring our preschool operates smoothly while fostering a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment where children can grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include a blend of administrative leadership, classroom support, and family engagement, including:

  • Assist with the daily operation of the preschool program
  • Support teachers and provide classroom coverage as needed
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding attendance and student needs
  • Manage attendance records, tuitionrelated documentation, and student files
  • Coordinate classroom supplies, snacks, and inventory
  • Assist with preschool events, communications, newsletters, and promotional materials
  • Support student assessments and maintain student portfolios
  • Help onboard new preschool staff members
  • Supervise preschool operations in the Director's absence
  • Partner with teachers to create a welcoming, organized, and excellent learning environment
  • QualificationsSuccessful candidates will demonstrate:
  • A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with Christian Life School's Statement of Faith
  • A heart for serving young children and their families
  • Prior Preschool Teacher experience; including knowledge of age appropriate developmental needs
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
  • A positive, flexible, and teamoriented attitude
  • Proficiency with common office technology and computer software
  • Relevant education and/or experience in early childhood education or a related field
