Christian Life School

Christian Life School is seeking caring, flexible, and dependable Preschool Substitute Teachers to serve youngest students ages birth - 4 years old on an as-needed basis. Substitute teachers play an important role in providing a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment while maintaining continuity in the classroom during a teacher's absence.

• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
• Maintain a positive, orderly, and respectful classroom environment.
• Supervise students throughout the school day, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and administration.
• Uphold the mission, values, and policies of Christian Life School.
Qualifications
• Minimum of a high school diploma required.
• Previous experience working with young children or in a preschool/day care setting is preferred.
• Classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and learning needs.
• Flexibility to accept assignments on short notice when available.

Christian Life School is a ministry of Journey Church. Applicants must:

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrate a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles.
• Be in agreement with the school's Statement of Faith.
• Regularly attend and actively participate in a Christian church.
