Job description

Benefits:
  • Flexible schedule

Fully or Associate Licensed Therapist – Christian Counseling FocusHybrid | Apex, Cary, or Fuquay-Varina, NC | 1099 Independent Contractor

Brinkley Brown Mental Wellness, PLLC is a growing, multidisciplinary private practice with nearly 30 providers serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across North Carolina.
We're Growing!
We are seeking a Fully or Associate Licensed Therapist with an interest or specialty in Christian counseling and faith-integrated therapy to join our team.
We continue to receive requests from clients specifically seeking therapists who can thoughtfully incorporate Christian faith, values, and spirituality into therapy when desired by the client.
The ideal clinician will provide evidence-based mental health treatment while integrating a client's Christian beliefs and spiritual values in a clinically appropriate, ethical, and client-centered way.
Build a Practice That Works for You
You make your own schedule. We provide the referrals, infrastructure, and administrative support so you can focus on your clients.
Opportunities are available at our Apex, Cary, and Fuquay-Varina locations. This can be a hybrid position with a combination of in-person and telehealth appointments, although we currently have significant demand for in-person services.
What We Offer
  • Flexible, provider-determined scheduling
  • Steady flow of new patient referrals
  • Billing, collections, and marketing handled for you
  • Competitive percentage-based compensation
  • In-person and telehealth flexibility
  • Established office space in Apex, Cary, and Fuquay-Varina
  • Freedom to build a caseload around your specialties and interests
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Provider autonomy with a strong emphasis on work/life balance
Who We're Looking For
We'd love to speak with you if you:
  • Are fully or associate licensed in North Carolina as an LCSW/LCSWA, LMFT/LMFTA, or LCMHC/LCMHCA
  • Have experience, training, or a strong clinical interest in Christian counseling or faith-integrated psychotherapy
  • Can appropriately incorporate Christian beliefs and spirituality into treatment when requested by the client
  • Value evidence-based, ethical, and client-centered care
  • Are interested in developing a consistent caseload of 20+ sessions per week
  • Can provide some in-person availability in Apex, Cary, or Fuquay-Varina
  • Value clinical independence while still being part of a supportive team
Experience working with couples, families, children, or adolescents is also highly valued due to continued demand in these areas.
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor position with percentage-based compensation. Clinicians have significant autonomy over their schedules and caseloads, allowing you to build your practice around both your lifestyle and income goals.
Clinicians maintaining a full caseload can typically expect to earn approximately $85,000–$115,000+ annually, depending on licensure level, payer mix, and caseload.
Licensure: Fully or Associate Licensed
Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible / Provider-Determined
Caseload: 20+ sessions per week
Work Setting: Hybrid – In-Person & Telehealth
Locations: Apex, Cary, or Fuquay-Varina, NC
Annual Earning Potential: Approximately $85,000–$115,000+ with a full caseload, depending on licensure level, payer mix, and caseload
Why Brinkley Brown?
You get the autonomy and earning potential of private practice without having to build it alone. We handle the business infrastructure while you maintain control over your schedule, caseload, and clinical work.
If you're passionate about providing high-quality mental health care and want the opportunity to offer Christian, faith-integrated counseling to clients actively seeking that approach, we'd love to talk with you.

Flexible work from home options available.
