GROW Summer Camp Lifeguard

Greater Atlanta Christian School (GAC) is a premier, independent, PreK-12th grade school located just outside metro Atlanta. The mission of Greater Atlanta Christian School is to help each student grow as Jesus did, in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man. We are seeking a dynamic, engaging individual to join our extraordinary team in our GROW Summer Camp this upcoming summer.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe aquatic environment for campers.
  • Be responsible for the daily care and mentorship of campers during swim time.
  • Enthusiastically participate in all program areas as assigned.
  • Communicate and work with GROW Summer Camp staff members.

Certifications:

  • Current certification in lifeguard training or equivalent.
  • Current certification in swim instruction or related experience.
  • Current certification in first aid and CPR.

Knowledge, Skills, & Capabilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to convey a dynamic, energetic, patient, and nurturing spirit with passion and skill to actively and positively engage students.
  • Flexible, with the ability to work in a highly demanding, stressful environment.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Successful background check, reference checking, and drug/alcohol screening clearance.
