2nd Grade Teacher - Mount Zion Christian Academy

This position involves teaching elementary school students (2026-2027). The successful candidate will be a hardworking and enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge, coupled with the desire to encourage and inspire students to love learning and excel academically. A passion for Christian education is a must-have for this position.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Teaching elementary school courses: ELA, History, Math, Science
  • Teaching from a biblical worldview
  • Maintaining a safe and disciplined environment for the students
  • Creating and implementing daily lessons for students, incorporating Biblical integration in each lesson
  • Maintaining a high level of classroom management
  • Observing and evaluating the progress of each student
  • Differentiating instruction as required
  • Maintaining communication with parents
  • Being available for parent conferences
  • Working cooperatively with administrators, fellow teachers, and parents
