Job Title: Part-Time School Nurse

Location: Mooresville Christian Academy

Job Summary

Mooresville Christian Academy is a thriving, growing Christian school dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth. We are seeking a compassionate Part-Time School Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to our students, manage school health records, and foster a safe, nurturing environment that aligns with our Christian values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Care: Provide first aid, assess illnesses, and administer prescribed medications to students during the school day.
  • Health Records: Maintain accurate, confidential student health records.
  • Emergency Response: Help lead the schoolโ€™s response to medical emergencies.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for parents regarding student health issues, injuries, or illnesses.
  • Wellness Promotion: Partner with staff to maintain a healthy campus environment and advise on school health policies.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) or (LPN) with a current, valid state license.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or emergency care is highly preferred.

  • Certification: Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
