Job description

Chitra is dedicated to supporting national defense missions through intelligence, training, and operational environment solutions, emphasizing innovation and mission success. As the Exercise Task Lead, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command (T2COM) Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G-2) initiatives.

In this position, you will serve as the on-site primary point of contact and supervise contractor personnel, ensuring seamless execution of complex military training exercises. Your expertise will drive the development and delivery of tailored exercise products and threat intelligence, directly impacting mission readiness and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
    • Supervise contractor personnel and act as the primary on-site contact for exercise planning and execution.
    • Lead exercise planners to produce and execute exercise products, including Road to War, Threat Order of Battle, Annex B, role player scripts, and MESL.
    • Synchronize exercise scenarios with planners and the IEWTPT team to ensure cohesive execution.
    • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship during planning and execution phases.
    • Oversee research and analysis of PMESII-PT operational variables to inform exercise development.
    • Ensure tailored threat intelligence products meet customer requirements.
    • Develop role player scripts and generate Threat/Friendly/Neutral network diagrams with associated reporting.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute unit collective training from Brigade to Army echelons.
    • Identify and mitigate training resource gaps prior to execution.
    • Collect observations during exercises and contribute to After Action Reviews (AARs).
    • Maintain a repository of relevant Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
    • Plan and execute events in accordance with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
    • Support special projects as required.

Requirements

    • SAMS graduate or equivalent
    • 20–25 years of relevant experience in military training and exercise planning/execution
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
    • Proficiency with battle simulation systems used for military training exercises
    • Proficiency with intelligence tools used to develop threat intelligence products
    • Experience planning and executing exercises in accordance with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC)
    • English fluency
    • Active SECRET security clearance
    • U.S. citizenship
    • Able to travel 15%–25%
    • Able to start within 90 days
    • Experience leading or supervising personnel in exercise development, training management, or battle simulation contexts
    • Experience supporting military training/exercise missions in the INDOPACOM (Pacific theater) environment
    • Understanding of Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO)
