Job description

**$20-$25 an hour!!**

West Nashville: Are you motivated and attentive to detail? Can you multi-task while continuing to have a smile on your face? Then we want to talk to you about our Medical Office Assistant position. Our busy Chiropractic office needs a Medical Office Assistant to help us give our patients a 5-star experience all the time, every time! Bilingual a plus!

As our Medical Office Assistant, you will have the incredible honor to work in multiple areas within our practice. This is a full-time position (32-40hrs/wk) with weekends off! We are looking for a member of the community that is interested in establishing a stable career in healthcare for a long-term fit at our office in Nashville.

No Experience Needed!

Prior medical office experience is a plus, but certainly not required. We offer paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning! We will make sure you’re totally confident working with the equipment and patients before you start handling these tasks alone.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Reviewing and organizing patient medical charts
  • Assisting with patient rehab instructions
  • Using your friendliest phone voice to answer calls and take messages
  • Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
  • Consistent cross-training for optimum career growth
  • Taking payments and applying them to patient accounts
  • Taking the patient back to the exam room and verifying their medical history
  • Manages the practice’s schedule, makes appointments for patients, determines when the chiropractor is available and confirms appointments to make sure patients are on time.
  • Documentation/Data entry
  • Ordering and coordinating outpatient diagnostics and referrals
  • Coordinating internal marketing projects
