Chiropractor Assistants are healthcare professionals who support chiropractors in their daily practice. Their responsibilities typically include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing records, preparing treatment rooms, and sometimes assisting with basic patient care under supervision. They play an important role in ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and patients have a positive experience. In some states or clinics, they may also assist with therapeutic modalities or exercises as directed by the chiropractor.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a chiropractor assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Chiropractor Assistant, you need a basic understanding of anatomy, strong organizational skills, and often a high school diploma or relevant certification. Familiarity with scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and basic office equipment is typically required. Excellent interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and a compassionate attitude help you stand out in this patient-facing role. Job description

$80,000–$100,000 Base Salary + Bonuses | $120K+ Earning Potential | Smokey Point, WA | Full-Time or Part-Time

A brand-new The Joint Chiropractic location is opening in Smokey Point, and we're looking for the chiropractor who wants to help build it from day one.

You became a chiropractor to take care of people — not to fight insurance companies, chase payments, or spend your evenings on paperwork.

We take care of the business. You take care of the patients.

What Your Day Looks Like

  • Patient consultations and exams
  • Hands-on chiropractic care
  • Patient education and relationship-building
  • Helping people feel and function better

What You Won't Be Doing

  • Insurance claims or billing disputes
  • Chasing down payments
  • Managing your own schedule or front desk
  • Running payroll, marketing, or vendor relationships

Be Part of Something New This isn't stepping into someone else's practice, someone else's patients, or someone else's habits. You'll help launch a brand-new location — building your own patient relationships from day one, in a growing area.

You'll also have the backing of a franchise owner with 20+ years building successful chiropractic practices, not a corporate call center.

Compensation Full-Time: $80,000–$100,000 base salary + performance bonuses | $120K+ earning potential Part-Time: $40–$45/hour + bonuses

Benefits

  • Company-paid malpractice insurance
  • WA license fee reimbursement
  • Continuing education assistance
  • PTO
  • 401(k)
  • Hands-on mentorship from experienced DCs

Who This Is For Experienced DCs ready to leave the administrative and insurance grind behind. New grads who want mentorship instead of being handed the keys to a solo practice on day one.

Practice chiropractic. Not the business of chiropractic.

Apply today.

You will be employed by an independent franchisee of The Joint Chiropractic. Employment terms, compensation, and benefits are set by the franchisee and may vary by location.
