What are Chiropractor Assistants?

Chiropractor Assistants are healthcare professionals who support chiropractors in their daily practice. Their responsibilities typically include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing records, preparing treatment rooms, and sometimes assisting with basic patient care under supervision. They play an important role in ensuring the clinic runs smoothly and patients have a positive experience. In some states or clinics, they may also assist with therapeutic modalities or exercises as directed by the chiropractor.

What are some common challenges faced by a Chiropractor Assistant, and how can they be managed effectively?

Chiropractor Assistants often juggle multiple responsibilities, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and assisting with patient care. One common challenge is efficiently balancing administrative tasks with direct patient interaction, especially during busy hours. Developing strong organizational skills and being comfortable with electronic health record systems can help manage these demands. Additionally, clear communication with the chiropractor and other team members ensures that the office runs smoothly and patients receive timely care.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Chiropractor Assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Chiropractor Assistant, you need a basic understanding of anatomy, strong organizational skills, and often a high school diploma or relevant certification. Familiarity with scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and basic office equipment is typically required. Excellent interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and a compassionate attitude help you stand out in this patient-facing role. These skills are crucial for ensuring efficient clinic operations, a positive patient experience, and effective support for chiropractors.

What We Offer:

  • Base salary (90-120k, negotiable) + bonus compensation (see below).  Pay is biweekly.
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to clinic outcomes & growth (not per adjustment)
  • Full medical, dental, vision + PTO, holidays, life/disability insurance for you and your team, plus malpractice insurance
  • Sponsored CE, leadership training, and business development
  • Back-office support (legal, marketing, HR, IT, revenue cycle, clinical ops and more)

  • No Buy-In or Franchise Fees - earn like an operator, without taking on financial risk or overhead.
  • Clinical Autonomy with Support -  Our doctors shape care plans and patient experience, they are not assembly-line providers. Most Clinics have 1-2 Chiropractic Assistants on site

  • Leadership & Clinic Director Track  - Grow into leadership without having to purchase or franchise a clinic.
  • Mentorship & Professional Development- - We invest in leadership growth and ongoing clinical mastery, not just onboarding.

At Chiro One, care is built around outcomes and you're not doing it in isolation. You'll be part of a broader network of chiropractors-people you can learn from, collaborate with, and grow alongside.
