Job Description
  • Strong customer orientation and strong negotiating skills
  • Strong background in import operations, global logistics, and Customs Compliance.
  • Coordinate ocean, air and trucking freight with carriers, 3rd party logistics providers
  • Manage and support fulfillment & distribution activities
  • SOP/Work Instructions maintenance and ensuring operational best practice in line with customer requirements as well as ensure operational SOP compliance
  • Builds relationships with carriers, vendors, & internal team members, and helps resolve any freight problems that may arise.
  • Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and support continuous process improvements.
  • Constantly evaluates logistics processes to improve operational efficiency and support long-term business growth
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1+ years of professional work experience in freight forwarding or ocean import logistics operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in analytical and problem-solving methodologies with the ability to rapidly master complex logistics operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proven interpersonal and communication capabilities with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities with urgency
  • Professional work ethic with commitment to operational excellence and compliance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
