CTS Global Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive responsible for customer acquisition, account development, and profitable sales growth. This position will develop new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and promote the company’s international freight-forwarding and logistics services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new customers through prospecting, referrals, networking, cold outreach, and in-person meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Promote air freight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, trucking, and other supply-chain solutions.
  • Understand customer shipping requirements and recommend appropriate logistics solutions.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, service plans, and account-development strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing and service terms in coordination with Operations and management.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts by identifying additional business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Accounting, and overseas partners to support customer needs and service quality.
  • Monitor customer activity, revenue, gross profit, and account performance.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, customer information, and pipeline updates in the company’s CRM or CargoWise system.
  • Meet assigned sales, new-customer, revenue, and gross-profit goals.
  • Assist with resolving customer concerns and maintaining long-term business relationships.
  • Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of sales or business-development experience in freight forwarding.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of international air and ocean freight-forwarding services.
  • Proven ability to acquire new customers and develop profitable accounts.
  • Established relationships or a customer network within the freight-forwarding, transportation, or logistics industry.
  • Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple customer accounts, and meet sales goals.
  • Willingness to attend customer meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales or logistics-management systems.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred for positions supporting Chinese-speaking customers and overseas partners.
  • Experience using CargoWise or a comparable freight-forwarding system.
  • Experience selling customs brokerage, warehousing, trucking, or integrated supply-chain services.
  • Knowledge of international trade practices, Incoterms, and freight pricing.
  • Existing book of business or active customer portfolio is highly preferred.
