Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled SAP & MES Systems Analyst to join our Onsite Department at a manufacturing facility in Houston. This role is critical to supporting the integration, implementation, and optimization of enterprise systems such as SAP, MES, and SCADA, ensuring real-time system support for production teams and seamless operations on the factory floor. The ideal candidate will work directly with manufacturing, IT, and engineering teams to maintain system performance and provide end-user support to ensure operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integration Testing

Conduct integration testing between SAP, MES, SCADA, and other enterprise systems.

Validate data flow and operational integrity across systems to ensure seamless interoperability.
2. Onsite Support, End-User Training & System Operation

Provide onsite system support at the manufacturing facility, working directly with operators, engineers, and support staff.

Conduct end-user training and create SOP documentation for SAP and MES usage.

Ensure real-time support to maintain system uptime, production stability, and business continuity.
3. System Analysis & Consulting

Analyze business and manufacturing processes to recommend enhancements in SAP and MES.

Evaluate current system infrastructure and propose optimization strategies.
4. Implementation & Configuration

Configure and deploy SAP and MES systems based on organizational and operational needs.

Set up system parameters, define workflows, and manage user role assignments.
5. Troubleshooting & Maintenance

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within SAP and MES platforms.

Manage system upgrades, patches, and ensure performance optimization.
(Optional) 6. Customization & Development

Design and develop custom reports, dashboards, and workflows tailored to business requirements.

Qualifications:

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
