Our Client is a leading importer, exporter, and distributor specializing in Japanese, Asian, and international food products, beverages, restaurant supplies, and related goods. The company serves restaurants, supermarkets, food service providers, and retail customers across the United States.

Our Client is seeking motivated bilingual Account Executives to support business growth, develop client relationships, and expand market presence within Asian and multicultural business communities.

Our Client is looking for competitive, energetic, and trustworthy Account Executives to help drive sales growth and expand business opportunities. The ideal candidates will be responsible for identifying new prospects, building customer relationships, conducting presentations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for sales professionals who understand Asian markets, food distribution, and relationship-based sales.

• Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and customer needs.

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media outreach.

• Prospect and engage new clients while maintaining existing customer relationships.

• Schedule and attend meetings with prospective customers.

• Present products and services to potential clients.

• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and business presentations.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client business needs.

• Follow up regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction.

• Address customer concerns, objections, and service issues professionally.

• Prepare regular sales activity reports and financial updates.

• Ensure product availability for customer demonstrations and sales opportunities.

• Maintain accurate records within CRM and internal systems.

• Track sales performance against established goals and objectives.

• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.

• Promote company products and services within Asian and multicultural food distribution markets.

• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support business growth initiatives.

• Work closely with operations, customer service, purchasing, and logistics teams.

• Share customer insights and market feedback with management.

• Contribute toward achieving departmental and company sales targets.

• English required.

• Japanese language not required.

• Candidates with Asian market experience or food industry sales experience are strongly preferred.

• One candidate must be Fluent in Japanese and English.

• One candidate must be Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) and English.

• Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or another customer-facing sales role.

• Experience prospecting, generating leads, and closing business opportunities.

• Comfortable conducting cold calls and developing new business relationships.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• CRM experience preferred but not required.

• Understanding of sales, marketing, and negotiation techniques.

• Experience within Asian markets, food distribution, food import/export, or related industries is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Japanese or Chinese business culture is preferred for the bilingual positions.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
