Job Summary

NHS Mechanical is looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a strong background in the commercial HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, a team player, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform  preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a wide range of  commercial systems.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing schematics,  blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct  refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection in strict accordance  with EPA regulations.
  • Complete detailed service reports and work orders, accurately documenting work  performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Provide clear and professional communication with clients, explaining technical  issues and repair options in an understandable manner.
  • Participate  in the on-call rotation for emergency service calls.
  • Mentor  and provide guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Adhere  to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work  environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

  Qualifications

  • 5+  years of experience as a commercial HVAC Service Technician.
  • EPA  Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
  • Valid  driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent  problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Effective  communication and customer service abilities.
