Children s Hospital of Michigan is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist for holiday and weekend locum coverage with some weekday needs through 2026. Fellowship-trained, CAQ-certified/eligible candidates welcomed. Open to IMLC licensure IPL Health Staffing will assist every step of the way!

Pediatric Radiology Locum Tenens Children s Hospital of Michigan (Detroit, MI)

Highlights:

  • Holiday & Weekend Coverage Priority (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year s, etc.)

  • Flexible Scheduling into 2025 & 2026 (some weekday needs as well)

  • Open to IMLC Licensure IPL Health Staffing will assist you throughout the process

Position Details
  • Facility: DMC Children s Hospital of Michigan TPR

  • Specialty: Pediatric Radiology (Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Pediatric focus)

  • Start Date: December 2025

  • Duration: Through December 2026

  • Coverage Needs:

    • High demand for Holiday blocks (e.g., Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week, New Year s)

    • Ongoing Saturday/Weekend shifts

    • Some weekday coverage also available

  • Shift Example:

    • Saturday 7:30 am 4 pm: Read all X-ray, US, Stat CT & MRI cases + onsite for Fluoro

    • Saturday 4 pm onward: Responsible for X-ray, US, Stat CT & MRI cases overnight

  • Patients per Shift: 60

Requirements
  • Board Certification: Required in Radiology with Pediatric Radiology fellowship

  • CAQ: Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Radiology

  • Licensure: MI license or IMLC accepted (IPL will guide you through licensure process)

  • Certifications: BLS required

Practice Environment
  • Setting: Inpatient

  • Trauma Level: 0 Peds Level: 1

  • Teaching: Resident supervision required

  • EMR: Sectra (effective Jan 2026)

  • Privileges: Temporary privileges available ( 90 days credentialing window)

Logistics & Support
  • Travel & Lodging: Provided

  • Insurance: Covered by vendor

  • Call: Beeper call with 30-minute response requirement
