You visit students, engage in conversation, and assist with daily living tasks like cooking, housekeeping, and personal hygiene. As you perform your work, you leave room for the student to assert some control and make their own choices. You also encourage students to develop social relationships and participate in recreational activities, helping them make friends and strengthen community ties. Your caregiving work is vital in helping students bridge the gap between their current abilities and their future goals! QUALIFICATIONS18+ years of ageMust have a valid driver's licenseCapable of remaining awake during an overnight shift to ensure the safety and well-being of studentsAble to work holidays and weekend shifts as requiredAble to perform activities of daily livingAble to perform physical interventions as necessary to provide the safest environment for our studentsA mandatory 1 week of training is required with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.A high school degree or equivalent would be preferred.
