• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools to gauge their emotional and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique developmental stages of each young patient, integrating family dynamics and community resources as necessary.
• Deliver therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in supporting the mental health of their children, equipping them with strategies to nurture a healthier home environment.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other clinicians to create a comprehensive approach to care, participating in case consultations to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stability for young clients.
• Educate families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering a supportive journey toward recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Engage in regular professional development through team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education workshops to stay informed on advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders. This role is pivotal in guiding these young individuals toward improved mental health and emotional resilience, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. By providing evidence-based interventions, we play a crucial role in shaping healthier futures for the families we serve.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LP, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.
• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Strong experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents in both clinical and community settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a child-centered approach that fosters trust and rapport.
• Ability to navigate electronic health record (EHR) systems and utilize technology effectively to enhance service delivery.
• Proficient in working collaboratively with other mental health professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Two or more years of clinical experience working directly with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and a strong comfort level using video conferencing tools for therapy sessions.
• Experience in crisis intervention and participation in mental health emergencies.
