Job description
The Department of Psychiatry is excited to announce an opening on our expanding team of psychiatrists in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division. In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to provide psychiatric care to a variety of pediatric patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as some adult outpatient coverage.
Additionally, you will have the chance to take part in the educational objectives of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health by supervising and building a mentor/mentee relationship with a variety of learners, including residents and fellows.

This position is full or part-time, 50%-100%
This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.
This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
Applicants for this position will be considered for the following titles: Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.
Teach medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
Provide psychiatric care for a variety of pediatric and/or adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Required Qualifications:Successful completion of Child/Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship by the start date of position.
WI Medical license by start date of position.
Board Certification in Adult or Child Psychiatry or Board Eligible with a firm plan to complete certification requirements.
For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on CT track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CT track.
MD or DO, or equivalent is required.
