Pay: $23/$24
Hours: 5:45 AM-9:00 AM AND 3:00 PM-6:30 PM
Looking for a part-time leadership role that fits around the school day?
AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day.
For those who have experience supporting students, the Site Director role offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful before and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.
We're looking for an early learning professional who:
  • Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
  • Feels confident taking the lead and running a smooth program
  • Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience
  • Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
  • Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

In this role, you will:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
  • Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
  • Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
  • Make child safety the top priority at all times
  • Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
  • Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
  • Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
  • Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
  • Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success

This role is ideal for educators with experience in:
  • Teaching or classroom leadership
  • Youth programs
  • Staff supervision or team leadership

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be 21 years old+
  • Child Development Associate Certification OR 12 credits in child-care courses or related field in a minimum of 48 credits total OR Associates/Bachelors degree in child-care or child-care related field
  • At least 1 full year of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
  • Ability to work in a large group setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
