A centralized engineering structure in support of The Core enables a common platform model and operating framework that promotes consistent governance and scalable solutions, leveraging cloud, AI, and machine learning for innovation and efficiency.
Non-Financial Risk & Controls Engineering Program Management
Non-Financial Risk & Controls Engineering is responsible for providing the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders with high quality non-financial risk information required to keep the firm's activities within the defined risk appetite and comply with regulatory requirements. Our user base spans thousands of users globally. We partner with Risk, Compliance and other leaders across divisions, to fully understand the products, business strategies, and regulatory expectations. This knowledge enables us to build long-lasting software solutions, and to innovate with a purpose.
The Non-Financial Risk & Controls Engineering Program Management team is responsible for defining strategy for large transformational initiatives. As a member of our team, you will partner globally across multiple divisions and engineering teams to define strategy and drive execution aligned with end-to-end Engineering solutions to deliver results. You will be able to innovate and incubate new ideas, and you will learn and share knowledge across the organization. You will have an opportunity to work on a broad range of projects.
Your Role
As a VP in the Non-Financial Risk & Controls Engineering Program Management team, you will lead an area of the OneGS 3.0 Enterprise Risk Management Non-Financial Risk transformation (ERM NFR). This role will sit at the intersection of strategy, execution, stakeholder alignment, and content development, helping translate the Non-Financial Risk target operating model and strategic priorities into a practical execution plan.
You will partner with Risk, Compliance, Engineering, divisional stakeholders, and transformation teams to drive structure, clarity, and momentum across a broad set of workstreams. The role requires the ability to synthesize complex information, create executive-ready materials, manage cross-initiative dependencies, and connect strategic objectives to concrete deliverables, owners, milestones, and outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
As a VP, you will:
- Lead program management for an area of a large transformational initiative, connecting strategic objectives, target operating model decisions, and execution planning.
- Translate senior stakeholder direction into clear program structure, with concrete solutions anchored in and aligned to Engineering capabilities to deliver them.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Engineering, Transformation Program Office, and divisional stakeholders to align on scope, delivery expectations and measures of success.
- Define and monitor program success metrics and adjust execution or strategy to meet objectives.
- Drive the development of executive-ready materials, including strategy updates.
- Collaborate on the development of multi-year execution plan, including simplification opportunities, and target-state design activities.
- Frame and communicate complex topics such as process simplification, convergence, foundational data, AI-enabled capabilities, and operating model transformation.
- Facilitate working sessions and governance forums to drive decisions, resolve blockers, and align stakeholders.
- Enable successful senior leadership updates with thematic talking points, illustrative examples and demos.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, transformation, strategy, risk management, compliance management, product management, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with senior stakeholder visibility.
- Strong ability to connect strategy to execution, including translating high-level objectives into clear workplans, milestones, ownership, and decision points.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing executive-level materials and simplifying complex topics for senior audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to drive alignment across business, risk, engineering, and transformation teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear recommendations.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in non-financial risk, compliance, operational risk, controls, risk assessments, issue management, monitoring and testing, or enterprise risk transformation.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs, target operating model design, or multi-year strategic planning.
- Experience building executive presentations with an ability to frame complex transformation topics in business-friendly language.
- Experience with AI, automation, data strategy, or workflow simplification initiatives.
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
