The CFO will serve as a key executive responsible for financial stewardship, balance sheet strategy, and enterprise performance. This role partners with the CEO, Board, and executive leadership to provide actionable financial insights, ensure compliance, and guide strategic decision-making. Asset/Liability & Financial Risk Oversight
  • Chair or facilitate ALCO and support Board-level finance committees.

  • Identify emerging financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Report financial results against plan and peer institutions.
  • Develop advanced financial models for branch, product, and portfolio performance.
Accounting, Reporting & Controls
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all entities.
  • Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Oversee AP operations and domestic/international wire activity.
Credit & Allowance Oversight
  • Own allowance frameworks including CECL methodology and assumptions.
  • Ensure processes and models meet regulatory expectations.
Operational Efficiency & Technology
  • Lead automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate technology investments for cost-benefit and risk mitigation.
Treasury & Ancillary Programs
  • Manage BOLI portfolio and other treasury programs.
  • Oversee corporate credit card program for employees and institution.
External & Internal Relationships
  • Maintain relationships with auditors, regulators, consultants, and financial service providers.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance teams.
Compliance & Professional Development
  • Ensure compliance with laws and banking regulations, including BSA and OFAC.
  • Pursue continuing education on regulatory and accounting best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced credential strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience within banking, financial institutions, or mortgage banking.
  • Executive-level experience with accountability for enterprise financial outcomes.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, financial reporting standards, and supervisory expectations.
  • Proven ability to balance growth, profitability, operational discipline, and regulatory compliance.
