Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of Technical Group Leadership and Chief Technologist Operations. The Radiologic Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, Chief Technologist and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as technologist on either East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through Radiology Supervisor, Operations Manager and Radiology Administration Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Work requires knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology practices and the operation and maintenance of Radiologic equipment generally acquired through the completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURES, & REGISTRATIONS:

  • RTR and ARRT required, with work experience of two years or more.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Work requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and all/any apprehensions, to instruct students and to provide technical supervision to staff technologists.

  • State license required and all applicable radiology education requirements.

Compensation Range:

$42.39- $50.66

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
