Radiology Technologist Job Overview: Our client, a hospital, is seeking to add a NEW Radiology Technologist to their team

Radiology Technologist is responsible for providing skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, Chief Technologist and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as technologist on either East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through Radiology Supervisor, Operations Manager and Radiology Administration Director. To be successful in the role of Radiology Technologist, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and all/any apprehensions, to instruct students and to provide technical supervision to staff technologists.

2+ years experience Knowledge of the principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology practices and the operation of radiologic equipment Excellent communication skills and initiative Work experience in a hospital preferred Work requires knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology practices and the operation and maintenance of Radiologic equipment generally acquired through the completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology.
