The Chief Operations Officer is responsible for providing management of all operational functions of all sites. Also responsible for providing effective leadership to the staff, has knowledge of the organization, provides marketing support for the facility, and directs all activities within the facility in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations.


Shift: Full time Exempt -Days

Duties/Responsibilities

Maintain an effective organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of assigned responsibilities.

Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.

Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.

Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.

Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.

Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit, and retain required members of the executive team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.

Develop cost-effective methods to provide service.

Demonstrate knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.

Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to communicate these procedures clearly and accurately.

Display ability to direct and supervise Program activities. (Clinical Experience- Licensed)

Maintain an effective and efficient daily staffing pattern within budgetary constraints.

Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.

Provide a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.

Assist in formulating standards for patient care.

Help to build the reputation and image of Axiom Care by acting as a knowledgeable and professional single point of contact regarding clinical matters for our stakeholders. Attend industry events, network, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and other industry professionals, lead seminars, and/or produce educational video presentations for use on company website.

As part of Axiom Care's commitment to Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS), this position supports efforts to provide inclusive and accessible translation services for clients. Responsibilities may include participating in CLAS-related training, supporting language access initiatives, and promoting cultural sensitivity in day-to-day operations.

Education and Experience:


Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or health-related field.

Independent Arizona behavioral health License (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LISAC)

Credentialed as Clinical Supervisor with AZBBHE

Minimum of 5 years management setting familiarity, with continuous Quality Improvement, and familiarity with Joint Commission standards.

Possess skills to relate to all levels of management staff.

Valid Driver's License and be insurable with our corporate insurance carrier

CPR/ First Aid certification


Physical Requirements:


Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
