Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Chief Operating Officer to serve as a senior organizational leader for a growing nonprofit organization. Partnering closely with the Board of Directors and fellow executive leadership, this individual will oversee day-to-day operations, spearhead fundraising efforts, and lead the organization's next chapter of growth - including a major facility capital campaign and a rebranding initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all fundraising, donor relations, and major gift cultivation efforts
  • Oversee and drive a multimillion-dollar facility capital campaign
  • Direct organizational rebranding and community marketing strategy
  • Manage HR strategy, culture, and talent development across the organization
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, sponsors, and government stakeholders
  • Identify and outsource non-core operational functions to improve efficiency
  • Report directly to the Board of Directors and serve as a key representative of the organization

Ideal Background:
  • Proven experience as an operations leader who has run a comparably scaled nonprofit organization
  • Background in philanthropy, development, or donor-facing roles (e.g., Head of Philanthropy, Chief Development Officer)
  • Experience with Boys & Girls Club or similar mission-driven organizations is a strong plus
