Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)

Franklin General Hospital is seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for nursing and patient care services. This executive leadership position plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while advancing organizational goals, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.

Position Summary

The Chief Nursing Officer serves as the senior nursing leader with primary accountability for the quality of nursing care and related patient care services. The CNO provides clinical and administrative leadership, supports organizational strategic planning, and collaborates with hospital leadership, medical staff, and network partners to ensure excellence in patient outcomes and service delivery. The CNO also serves as Assistant Administrator and assumes CEO responsibilities during the CEO's absence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Progressive leadership experience in nursing administration or healthcare management.
  • Demonstrated success in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, staff development, financial management, and strategic planning.
