Healthcare Administrator / COO


Location: Las Vegas, NV
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Travel: Local travel between multiple facilities required


Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrator / COO to lead operations across multiple outpatient medical clinics and an ambulatory surgery center in the Las Vegas Valley.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing operations, staffing, compliance, financial performance, provider operations, and patient experience.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily operations across multiple healthcare locations.
  • Lead clinic managers, department managers, and administrative teams.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, OSHA, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
  • Oversee administrative operations of the ambulatory surgery center.
  • Manage staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and employee performance.
  • Support physician/APRN credentialing, licensing, and payer enrollment.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, productivity, revenue cycle, and KPIs.
  • Improve workflows, patient flow, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and corrective action plans.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Support organizational growth, new locations, and new service lines.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Services, Management, or related field.
  • Significant healthcare operations or administrative leadership experience.
  • Experience managing multiple departments, facilities, or healthcare service lines.
  • Experience supervising managers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with budgeting, staffing, performance management, and process improvement.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.


Preferred


  • Master's degree such as MHA, MBA, or MPH.
  • Previous COO, Healthcare Administrator, Executive Director, Regional Administrator, or Director of Operations experience.
  • Multi-location medical practice experience.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience.
  • Experience with accreditation, credentialing, payer enrollment, and revenue-cycle operations.
