Chief Clinical Officer / Chief Operating Officer for ABA company

House of Hearts Florida

Hollywood, FL • On-site

$120K - $200K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 6 days ago

Job description

Chief Clinical Officer / Chief Operating Officer

House of Hearts ABA
Location: Preferably Florida or Colorado | Open Nationwide (EST Preferred)
Compensation: Starting at $120,000+ with clear growth path to $200,000+

This Is Not a Maintenance Role.

This Is a Build Role.

House of Hearts ABA is entering its next stage of growth — and we are looking for a seasoned executive who wants to help build something meaningful, scalable, and enduring.

We are not looking for someone to “manage what exists.”
We are looking for someone to architect what comes next.

If you’ve spent 20+ years in ABA leadership and are ready to help shape a high-growth organization from an early stage — this may be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Who We Are

House of Hearts ABA is a growing, mission-driven ABA organization committed to clinical excellence and operational strength. We serve families with integrity, urgency, and heart — and we are building the infrastructure to scale responsibly.

We are a tight-knit executive team with ambitious long-term goals. We are building for the next 10–20 years, not the next 10 months.

The Role

This is a blended Chief Clinical Officer / Chief Operating Officer leadership position.

This executive will:

  • Oversee and build clinical infrastructure

  • Design operational workflows across the entire organization

  • Lead and grow BCBA teams

  • Ensure billing, intake, recruiting, and scheduling are scalable and efficient

  • Drive company-wide systems development

  • Help take the organization from early-stage growth into regional expansion

This leader must be able to operate at both 10,000 feet and ground level — strategic and hands-on.

What You Must Bring

We are specifically looking for someone with:

  • 20+ years of ABA leadership experience

  • Proven experience overseeing and scaling ABA organizations

  • Experience managing hundreds (ideally thousands) of clients

  • Strong executive presence and leadership maturity

  • Deep knowledge of CentralReach (expert level)

  • Experience building workflows across:

    • Intake

    • Scheduling

    • Staffing

    • Recruiting

    • Billing & Revenue Cycle

  • Ability to develop and mentor strong BCBA teams

  • Track record of creating cultures where clinicians thrive and stay

  • Operational fluency in authorizations, AR, utilization, and reimbursement

  • Comfort operating in high-growth environments with many moving parts

This is not a clinical-only role.
This is a clinical + operational builder role.

What We’re Building

We want someone who:

  • Is energized by growth

  • Wants to help build infrastructure the right way

  • Thrives in fast-moving environments

  • Can handle complexity calmly

  • Is ready to help architect something significant from early stages

This is an opportunity for an executive who has worked in larger organizations and now wants to help shape something more intimate, strategic, and entrepreneurial.

Compensation & Growth
  • Base salary starting at $120,000+(Based on experience)

  • Clear pathway to $200,000 as the company scales

  • Growth tied to company phases and expansion

  • Opportunity to grow alongside the organization long-term

Compensation will reflect both experience and growth contribution.

Why This Is Different

At House of Hearts ABA:

  • You will not be one of 10 executives.

  • You will not be buried in bureaucracy.

  • You will not be siloed.

You will sit at the leadership table.
You will help shape direction.
You will build systems from the ground up.
You will directly impact families, clinicians, and company trajectory.

Location
  • Ideally based in Florida or Colorado

  • Open to candidates anywhere in the U.S.

  • Eastern Standard Time availability preferred

If This Sounds Like You

If you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to:

  • Take your decades of experience

  • Step into true executive ownership

  • Build a strong, scalable ABA organization

  • Lead with both heart and operational excellence

We would love to speak with you.
