About the role
The Security Chief Enterprise Architect (CEA) is a high-impact, technical thought-leader responsible for assisting clients in architecting enterprise-grade security solutions. You will assist our clients in meeting the challenge to protect and enable large-scale data center and networking environments to achieve their business outcomes. The Security CEA, (as an infrastructure and data security subject matter expert) is a difference maker in customer engagements. You combine deep network and security expertise with business acumen to drive the success of our clients' major infrastructure initiatives. As a member of the broader Solution Sales Organization; your focus is on the sales goals & growth of our own business. 

Annual Salary Range: $160K - $200K USD 


What you'll be doing

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
  • As a Network Infrastructure Security thought-leader, you'll design and propose security architectures and solution use-cases for data center and enterprise networks. Your most significant contributions will be delivered in areas such as 
    micro-segmentation, zero trust network architecture, secure multitenancy & hybrid clouds, data protection, threat detection & response, identity & access management and policy creation & enforcement.
  • Lead the creation and evolution of a Domain Tech Strategies that are adopted by your domain and technology business stakeholders
  • Create and maintain a current and target view of our Enterprise Architecture to deliver our business and technology strategies.
  • Support business and technology change through capability roadmaps that inform Portfolio prioritization.
  • Establish and assure effective architecture governance and tooling to support Solution Architecture and other GIS teams.
  • Work closely with our Solution Architecture function ensuring that Tech Strategy is viable and new 'solutions' can be architected within the EA Principles/Guardrails and still deliver the desired outcomes to the business areas
  • Support annual and quarterly business and portfolio planning processes to ensure that the initiatives and plans are consistent with the agreed tech strategies
  • Ensuring our EA tool information is up to date and has the required breadth and depth
  • Support the development of architecture tools and techniques to support others in the practice

What you have

  • 5+ years' experience as a Lead or Domain Enterprise Architect
  • Must possess a working history with the top OEMs in the Network & Data Security space such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Splunk, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Fortinet, Dell etc.
  • Experience creating and embedding technology strategies either within a business domain or with in a large-scale transformation program
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business terminology
  • A proven track record of building strong relationships with customer CISOs, security teams, and infrastructure leaders by delivering expert guidance on risk reduction, compliance, and secure infrastructure transformation.
  • Ability to build trusted and respect as a 'thought leader' who can influence and when appropriate persuade technology and business leaders
  • Ability to be technology neutral: unbiased towards any specific technology or vendor choice, entirely motivated by getting to 'value & outcomes'
  • Ability to propose and effectively estimate proposed solution commercials
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technology skills
