The Chief Operating Officer (COO), along with the senior leadership team, will help define and lead the company's strategy and operations to ensure organizational alignment and disciplined execution against the organizational goals. The ideal COO will bring a track record of leading successful multi-site healthcare businesses through growth, operational improvement, and measurable performance gains. This executive will use data, analytics, and consistent operating metrics to identify opportunities, prioritize resources, monitor execution, and drive accountability across the enterprise. The COO will provide leadership and serve as a unifying force within the organization, maintaining a mission-driven culture of clinical quality, operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee company operations to ensure that people, systems, processes, and performance data are in place for the business to scale, while not sacrificing superior patient care.
• Recruit, retain, and develop talent at all levels; use data, performance metrics, and regular operating reviews to coach, mentor, and develop leaders who can drive consistent results across the organization.
• Continue to build a culture and environment that embraces growth, operational improvement, patient service excellence, compliance, measurable performance improvement, and accountability for results.
• Provide day-to-day operational leadership and P&L management of the company across all functions, using dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to identify trends, prioritize action, improve execution, and support near- and long-term value creation.
• Lead the strategy of the business, working closely with the chief executive officer (CEO) and senior management; provide oversight of the business across all functions.
• Provide regular, data-informed updates to the CEO and board of directors on business performance, opportunities, risks, key operating metrics, and progress against strategic priorities.
• Develop and foster strong relationships with regional operations leaders and clinical leaders to review financial, operational, clinical, and patient-experience performance; use analytics to benchmark best practices, identify leadership development needs, and support the effective roll-out and management of clinical initiatives.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-site healthcare or healthcare services; for-profit experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading scalable operations across multiple locations while maintaining high standards for clinical quality and patient care.
• Proven P&L ownership and ability to improve financial, operational, clinical, and patient-experience performance.
• Experience using KPIs, dashboards, analytics, and operating reviews to drive execution, accountability, and measurable results.
• Track record of recruiting, retaining, developing, and coaching leaders capable of delivering consistent enterprise-wide outcomes.
• Experience supporting organic and inorganic growth, including evaluation, affiliation, integration, or expansion of healthcare businesses.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with clinical, regional operations, executive, and board-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient service excellence, compliance, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.
• Experience translating strategy into clear priorities, action plans, resource allocation, and sustained performance improvement.
• Behavioral health experience preferred but not required.

Compensation: $250,000-$350,000 plus bonus/incentives.
