Job description

The IT Project Manager will manage the migration of on-premises Mainframe systems to the state Cloud Services environment. The position is accountable to the PM Officer, the Department's Chief Architect, and the supported system and business owners.
Candidate MUST meet ALL requirements.
MUST have an ACTIVE certification
MUST have hands-on experience with Mainframe to Cloud experience
MUST be able to clearly articulate the appropriate qualifications/steps to moving MF app to cloud
The ideal Project Manage for this role is less technical and must have experience to articulate the ability to move MF to cloud.
Responsibilities:
• Under general supervision, manages and/or coordinates all project tasks necessary to migrated mainframe applications to the AWS Cloud.
• Manages and/or provides project management consultation for all aspects of the project through the project management and software development life cycle.
• Works closely with the resource manager, vendor, business analysts, and subject matter experts on the various system support teams.
