Job description

Overview
In the Sanitation role, you will provide a welcoming environment for our guests by maintaining the cleanliness of resort grounds. This includes daily upkeep of outdoor areas, trash removal, equipment care, and prompt response to cleanliness and maintenance needs throughout the property.
Responsibilities
Sanitation responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain resort grounds daily, ensuring parking areas, walkways, entrances, and common spaces are clean, safe, and visually appealing
  • Perform sanitation duties, including emptying property and garage trash cans, removing trash from chutes to dumpsters/compactors, collecting restaurant trash, pulling residential cans for city pickup, wiping down trash cans, cleaning smoker canisters, and cleaning/servicing all on-site dumpsters
  • Assist with large item removals as requested by homeowners
  • Conduct regular litter pickup and operate leaf blower to clear walkways and outdoor areas
  • Perform daily pool deck duties
  • Pressure wash surfaces and paint exterior fixtures such as signposts and fencing as needed
  • Maintain equipment and supplies in safe working condition
  • Keep all storage areas, shops, and mechanical rooms clean, safe, and secure; report issues to the Chief Engineer
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to identify and address immediate needs; clear grounds of weeds, brush, and debris
  • Promptly respond to guest concerns, report resolution to front desk or Chief Engineer, and perform duties with minimal disruption
  • Keep the Chief Engineer fully informed of any significant issues requiring attention
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Ability to perform physically intensive tasks, pulling/pushing heavy items
