Job description

Chicken Catcher Role Responsibilities:

  • Catch assigned number of birds efficiently
  • Master proper bird placement techniques into cages
  • Ensure adherence to animal welfare guidelines
  • Accurately count and record birds loaded into cages
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
Acquire and put on all required PPE (Safety glasses, safety vest, gloves (optional), arm sleeves (optional)).
Perform routine stretches before starting daily duties.
Walk the house (bed the birds)
Wait for cage to be set on blocks
Open cage door
Catch correct amount of birds
Load birds in cage one hand at a time.
Repeat process until cage is full.
After proper amount of birds placed in cage, shut the cage door
