JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time
• Location: East Chicago, IN
• Service Setting: Hospital – Inpatient
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-Call Expectations: Rotational evening, weekend, and holiday call shared among CRNA team
• Start Date: Negotiable (Credentialing timeline approximately 90–120 days)

PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
• Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric
• Average Daily Volume / Census: Based on operating room schedule and surgical case load
• Consults & Follow-Ups: Intraoperative and perioperative anesthesia care
• Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: General anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties within hospital setting

FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
• Beds in Department/Unit: Full-service hospital within a 4-hospital not-for-profit healthcare system
• EMR System: Epic (HIMSS Stage VII – fully integrated system)
• Specialty Backup: Collaborative Anesthesiology team and full surgical specialty support
• Support Staff: Dedicated nursing staff, surgical teams, and anesthesia colleagues
• Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports to Department of Anesthesiology leadership

CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
