Job description

We're Always Looking for Experienced Machine Operators
This is a Pipeline Position - which means:
  • There might not be an open spot today
  • But we look here first when projects start

Pay
$24 - $32 per hour (Based on Experience)
  • Weekly Pay (Every Friday)

What You'll Be Doing
Operating heavy equipment on commercial concrete and/or civil projects.
If you have experience in any of the following machines (one or more), please let us know which in the pre-screening questions:
  • Screed Machines (Concrete)
  • Sheep's Foot Roller
  • Skid Steer
  • Excavator
  • Mini Excavator
  • Loader
  • Forklift or Telehandler
  • Other Site or Concrete-Related Equipment

Machine Operators at Merritt Contracting are also expected to assist crews with general labor tasks when needed to help keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ Years Experience Operating Heavy Equipment
  • Experience with Equipment Used for Concrete & Pipe Projects
  • Ability to Safely Load, Operate & Maintain Equipment
  • Willingness to Help Crews with General Labor as Needed
  • Must Speak, Read, and Understand English Fluently (This is a Safety-Sensitive Position)
  • Reliable & Team Player
  • OSHA 10 is a plus (or willing to get it)
